BIS ART Gallery announces an OPEN CALL for an exhibition reflecting on the cyborg phenomenon.
Cultural researchers claim that today man is in some sense a cyborg, a creature combining the biological and the artificial. People use gadgets, wear fitness bracelets to monitor vital signs, and use medical advances to improve their quality of life.
Cyborgs are a new reality. What other technologies will humanity come up with to improve life? Perhaps a person will have a third hand to hold a cocktail, hug a friend and scroll through the tape at the same time? Or a multifunctional tail that matches the image? The exhibition encourages us to dream of a future in which every day is a holiday.
Various artistic mediums are accepted to participate. Preference will be given to works that cover the topic with humor.
Terms of participation:
*Send a request by email bisartgallery@inbox.ru with the theme «Open-call. How many electric sheep do you need for happiness?»
*Name, technique, size, year of work
