From December 9 to December 23, BIS ART GALLERY will host Elena Kolesnikova’s solo exhibition, «Who Whispers Loudly on the Sunny Path.». Her colorful, cheerful, and symbolically charged works are maps of inner territories, leading along a path of positivity. They are a compass pointing to the current era of contemporary art—metamodernism. Her work speaks quietly, but its whisper reaches the heart.

Beyond the horizon of everyday worries and vain thoughts, where the nagging swarm of endless «musts» and «musts» subsides, lies an uncharted land. It’s unnamed and unmapped, yet each of us carries it in our hearts. These are the landscapes through which a person wanders every time they look within themselves. These landscapes live by their own laws. Rivers of Intention may change course, Mountains of Principles may gradually grow, and Lakes of Tranquility may ripple with the ripples of a stone thrown by a stray thought. But no matter how winding the path beneath one’s feet, the sun always illuminates the path to new heights—heights of a previously unexplored inner world.
