From July 7 to July 21, the BIS ART Gallery will host Polina Zaremba’s personal exhibition «The Secret Messenger», dedicated to the language of nature.
Nature speaks a mysterious language of feelings. A light breeze whispers about the tenderness of the moment, and thunderclouds about the inner storm. The dawn gives hope, the sunset comforts — as if someone invisible is sending subtle signs. Every element seems to hide a silent story about the future.
At some point, wind began to be measured in meters per second, rain in millimeters of precipitation, and rainbows in spectral wavelengths. Science has provided accurate formulas, maps, and forecasts, and man has believed that he has begun to understand nature better. Rational knowledge has replaced intuitive perception, and now it is increasingly difficult to see glimpses of the azure sky between the clouds, like a flash of insight that promised an idea. And in the mist of the moonlit night, a thin veil of quiet dreams, barely discernible in the semi-darkness. Although nature still says the same thing. It is like an ancient book of signs, written not with ink, but with golden rays and dewdrops, which is read not by the eyes, but by the heart. And then it turns out that all the predictions of the secret messenger are already here — in the smell of spring lilacs, in the silence of the forest, in the tremor of flowering camellias.
The exhibition «The Secret Messenger» is a space where abstraction becomes a bridge between the world of elements and the world of feelings. There are no literal landscapes here, but there is something that makes nature alive: emotions embodied in color. She whispers through a pulsating rhythm of lines, a tangle of shades, a gliding ray of light. In the abstract combinations of Polina Zaremba, a soft effect of recognition is born: not as a memory of a specific place or moment, but as a feeling that the language of nature is heard again. In each of Polina Zaremba’s works, the impulses of the elements and the soul are intertwined, as if deciphering the signs of a secret messenger.
