Alena Zhamozdik works with mosaic and complementary media. She is a member of the Union of Mosaic Artists of Russia, an ambassador of modern mosaic, and a resident and curator of the M.O.H. artists’ association. Her works are in private collections in Russia, Belarus, Italy, and Spain. In her work, Alena explores the boundaries and possibilities of mosaic as a tool for expressing the philosophical and existential issues that interest her. Her works are reflections on human nature, the path and trajectory of life, and the limits of free will within structured social systems.
