From September 2 to 16, BIS ART GALLERY will host a joint exhibition by artists Shishik and Ophelia t. «Gatherings», exploring the impact of home space on a person.
A house is a place where walls become a witness to human authenticity. Where people take off their masks for the street and allow themselves to be vulnerable, strange, and real. But what if the walls don’t protect you, but only remind you of how difficult it is to maintain yourself in a world that requires constant public appearances?
The tandem of artists Shishik and Ophelia t. explores the boundaries of private and public, sincere and fake. Their work is a conversation about how a person shapes their personal space, and space shapes a person. About how easy it is to lose yourself in an attempt to conform to an imposed role and how important it is to remain yourself not only at home, but also outside it.
