Alexandra Efimova was born in St. Petersburg and graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts named after I. Repin with a degree in painting.

Alexandra’s painting is a synthesis of photography, graphics and digital art, using classical drawing. The central theme of Alexandra Efimova’s work is «Man in the Digital Age.» From a technical point of view, the artist often uses the technique of an elusive, «blurred» frame. Time is accelerating, as are the changes taking place in it. The main figure in this chaos is a man.

By transforming reality into a world of illusions, the body and face practically lose their significance, as well as the person ceases to be unique. In Alexandra’s works, a person becomes secondary, often merging with the surrounding space.
