The hands are timeless

From January 20 to February 3, the BIS ART GALLERY will host the collective exhibition «Arrows out of Time»

Every day, a person balances between pressing the «send» button and a live conversation. In the age of technology, it’s easy to confuse real communication with the virtual illusion of intimacy. But dreaming about the future is not a substitute for sincere meetings, but a chance to remind yourself of what is truly important.

Let’s imagine a future where, despite all the technological innovations, the warmth of human communication has not lost its value. Where the heart is looking for another person’s closeness, and the hand reaches for the hand. Where it is not words that are more important, but presence, glances and touches filled with meaning. There, the boundaries of the comfort zone are blurred: neighbors, despite the winter frost, go out into the courtyard filled with children’s laughter, couples choose real meetings instead of video calls, and grandparents receive not only phone calls, but also gentle glances, warm gestures and sincere attention. This future is not just a world of technology and distance, but a space where time becomes flexible, where moments and kilometers intertwine in proximity, because the main thing is not coordinates, but the inner connection of souls.

This exhibition is not just a look into the future, but a reflection.: how to preserve the meaning of dialogue and human sincerity in a world where everything seems both distant and obsessively close. We just need to remember that no digital technology will ever be able to replace real warmth, because a person needs love and mutual living contact on a physiological level.

Curators: Maya Abuelez, Anna Ponamareva
